This British dinner suit, which dates from the 1950s, was made by the legendary British menswear brand ‘Burtons’. It is single-breasted, with peak lapels, a style which is increasingly difficult to find in vintage dinner suits. The suit is made from medium-weight barathea wool, making it ideal as a ‘year round’ dinner suit. With a 31 inch inside leg, the trousers are longer than in most vintage suits, making it ideal for the modern customer.
Size Approx 40: Chest (measured pit to pit) = 21 inches/Shoulders = 18 inches/Sleeves = 24 inches/Length = 30inches/Waist (across fastening) 20.5 inches. Trousers: Waist = 34 inches (+1 inch to let out)/Front Rise = 14 inches/Rear Rise = 19 inches/ Inside Leg = 31 inches (+1 inch to let down).
