Constructed from heavy cavalry twill wool cloth, this mid-20th Century (probably 1950s/1960s) ‘covert’ coat comes complete with a breast pocket and leather ‘football’ buttons. The covert coat is a traditional British overcoat that was originally designed as short riding coat, and is associated with equestrian wear and country clothing.
Size: Medium/Large – Size 38 (22 pit-to-pit – this is the recommended size in order for the coat to be worn over a 3-piece suit. The coat can be worn by larger sizes if you don’t require the full extra chest-allowance). Sleeve 25 inches. Length 40 inches.
