The Arkwright Trouser is our nod to Britain’s historic cotton manufacturing industry in rural Derbyshire. These are wide leg, workwear style trousers, in a full cut, which have had all the strain points reinforced. The grey cloth seen here is our own chambray open weave with a Cabernet stripe. A vista of colours and textures upon close inspection, the weave blends into mild grey tones and the texture softens when observed from afar. It’s 15oz in weight, and much like the Vaugan stripe is satisfyingly heavy and perfect for everyday wear and brushed on the inside for added warmth and comfort. If you do rough and ready work, the kind that requires strong, serviceable work clothes, you should wear these Arkwright Trousers and their matching jacket.
